EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

My project  is about INTRODUCING EXOTIC CHICKEN(LAYERS) in kamwenge district  located in the western region of the country(Uganda).This project has a number of benefits like manure,improving the standard of living of the people and also creating employment opportuities to the youth as well.

PROJECT GOAL

To improve the standards of living of people and the youth in Kamwenge district .

PROJECT PURPOSE 

The aim of the project is to increase the per-capita incomes of the youth in kamwenge district by 10% every year.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

To ensure firm growth in a period of 5 years.

To be used as a demonstration farm to other farmers and for students carrying out research studies

To provide good quality eggs and services to businesses and in time.

To provide employment opportunities to the youth

PROJECT BACKGROUND

The project idea was conceived after careful research resulting into the identification of the need to supply eggs since many hotels, bakeries and supermarkets in the surrounding districts were facing a problem of insufficient egg supplies. I realised that there was high demand for the eggs and saw this as an opportunity to come up with an idea that will solve the problem of insufficient supplies.
